Episcopal Ramblings from North Idaho

This is a poem by one of our writers at St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Coeur d'Alene. I am happy to feature these gifts of our church members.

Even in these deeply uncertain and unsettling times, while we have power to live, God invites and calls us to live. These reflections are offered from the books of Ezekiel and John, for such a time as this.

Please join in reflecting on God's word, as we read and hear this week from these passages of scripture -- 1 Samuel 16:1-13, Psalm 23, Ephesians 5:8-14, John 9:1-41 -- and as we consider this challenging time we live in now. Let Christ's Light dawn with in you and rise within you to meet others.

This sermon is being posted for those who cannot gather for public worship during this time of "social distancing" as a way of slowing the spread of the coronavirus.
